Admission Requirements
To enroll in our courses at Rosel School of Cosmetology, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess at least ONE of the following:
• A high school diploma
• A high school graduation equivalency certificate (GED)
In addition to a high school diploma, students who plan to study in the U.S as an international student must have completed an I-20M/N form. Additional information on this process can be found here.
What You Should Expect
In addition to the previously listed admission requirements, students should be able to demonstrate the skills they learned and apply them in professional situations. Being a beauty professional has various physical, mental, and behavioral requirements.
Physical Demands: A beauty professional must be comfortable standing for an extended period of time. There will be extensions of the arms, wrists, and hands constantly. They must be comfortable with the use of tools such as scissors, clippers, brushes, and other instruments.
Mental Demands: A beauty professional must be able to remember and perform multiple procedures in a timely manner. Students enrolled in the programs must have adequate mental capacity and show records of a high school diploma or GED.
Behavioral Demands: As a beauty professional, you will interact with many customers daily. In order to provide the best service possible, you must have a friendly and welcoming personality. Students should be highly motivated to learn and have enthusiasm in their desired career.
Paying For School
Investing in your education is a smart decision, but for many, paying for school can be a stressful situation. Among applicants, their top concern is usually affordability. Thankfully we are accredited by the U.S Department of Education to offer FAFSA financial aid to qualifying students.
